11th International exhibition of medical treatment abroad
15–17 March 2022 • Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia

InterMed participants presented advanced treatment techniques and main medical tourism market trends

9th International exhibition of medical treatment abroad InterMed was held on 13–15 March 2018 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia.

Medical facilities from 15 countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Spain and Turkey, took part in 2018 exhibition.

More than 4,500 people attended the exhibition, among them: specialists from Russian clinics, medical tourism agencies and travel agencies, insurance companies, as well as individuals looking for medical treatment.

Japanese International Lumbago Clinic, the first time exhibitor, aroused particular interest among visitors. ‘InterMed became our first experience of participation in the exhibition as well as representing our services in Russia.  On the results of 3 days of the exhibition we managed to communicate with many medical tourism industry colleagues and directly with patients.  We are sure that exhibiting at InterMed will become the growth driver for our clinic’, said Elena Polovnikova, representative of the International Lumbago Clinic.

Traditionally visitors were interested in the services of Finnish clinics. Helena Medical Group and Helsinki University Hospital presented high-quality medical services that provide opportunities for a wide range of diseases treatment. ‘Our clinic is a regular participant of InterMed. Within 3 exhibition days we met our partners, got acquainted with the representatives of new companies and medical centres and consulted people interested in treatment in Finland. We are looking forward for new meetings at the next year exhibition!’, said Olga Konovalova, Helena clinic consultant.

InterMed 2018 united the exhibition of foreign medical facilities services and the exclusive business programme, where the main medical and health tourism market trends were presented. Business interactive discussion ‘International exchange’, a training course for medical tourism agencies and travel agencies, and ‘Medical and rehabilitation tourism 2018’ conference were held within the business programme.

The next InterMed exhibition will take place on 12–14 March 2019 alongside with the largest Russian travel exhibition MITT in Moscow, in Expocentre Fairgrounds, giving Russians more treatment and recovery opportunities in the world leading medical institutions.
